Shane Torres Detroit Concert reviews
Who got fired for the mishap?
Shane Torres needed only 20 minutes to complete their set but had to cut it short. Dave and Martin were obviously bothered and had everyone rushing to get things up. Santa Barbara has an ordinance for no concerts beyond 10pm, no exceptions. Either someone tripped or shorted something out that killed all power to the stage. I still would recommend Shane Torres for anyone regardless of what happened. Their encores usually run long in pause, but you could tell they were rushing back to squeeze as much out of what little time they had left. Everyone had fun, and you could see Dave was singing to his limit to make up for the embarrassing moment. Im lucky to have seen them in Hollywood and Anaheim the night before and have to say do not hold it against them! It wasn't their fault!
Instead of random music before the set, play Depeche Modes more beloved yet obscure to the masses. People won't tire of them; if anything, add to the party and much-loved songs would be heard by more that may not know their full spectrum of music.
